To make the people sovereign in the real sense, a directly elected executive president is the only way. A presidential system is a must to end the inconsistencies of the parliamentary system. People will punish those who go against the public aspirations. So, there is no possibility of an executive president turning into a dictator.

I had made the proposal while preparing for the people�s war and building first plan and submitted in the central committee. I had submitted the 7-point commitments in the central committee so that the direction of the movements would not derail in the days to come. The central committee had passed as it was. To say that the party has deviated from the 7-point commitment is totally wrong because the rule of the development of class struggle, the rule of the development of movement is never in a straight line, there are ups and downs, there are turnings, and this goes ahead in curved line. We have to decide contemporary strategy on the basis of Nepal�s whole class struggle and international class struggle.

I know well that this is not true that they are view, line or work line even if they protest now. I don\'t want to disclose all publically because all prudent Nepalese people can understand about how they organized themselves in Dhobighat with what view, tendency, or belief. Nepali people can see that the candidate for Prime Minister, Deputy Minister stepped with what tendency and work plan, and now where they stand to protest. Who the opportunist is and who is determined to his view, tendency is the first thing. Secondly, I know and all people know that all these are happening due to their displeasure at not getting what they sought in the cabinet. All these are for manifestation only.
