Ruling parties show no sign of consensus

Kathmandu, May 05 - Despite Maoist leaders attempt to forge consensus through talk, the ruling parties are not showing any sign of flexibility.



Various rounds of talks have been held after the general strike, but they ended without any conclusion. The ruling parties are demanding Maoist to end the general strike. 



Minimizing the overwhelmingly big demonstrations the parliamentary party leaders are saying that not many people are supporting the strike. Various observes had estimated that at least 400,000 people had taken part in the May Day show.



Talks were held between Maoist and UML and Maoist and Nepali Congress (NC) on Moday but ended without any conclusion. According to a Maoist leader, Nepali Congress did not show any sign of compromise rather the NC leaders threaten of suppressing the movement.



Likewise, the ruling parties UML and NC hold five hours long meeting on Tuesday to form a common agenda to face the Maoist on the table and suppressing the movement. On wedneday, various ministers reacted over the general strike but spoke no language of consensus. 



While the general strike is heading with more and more people\\\'s participation, the government has attempted to initiate civil war. The ruling parties are forming various \\\'retaliating\\\' groups and instructing them to attack the protesters.  

Besides that, the government is trying to attack over Maoist protesters using the vigilantes too. 



The notorious youth force, the sister organization of ruling party UML, attacked on YCL cadres at Bhaktapur on Wednesday morning. A Youth Force cadre had opened two rounds of bullet over the YCL cadre. A YCL cadre has been injured.
