Vigilantes attacked on Maoist cadres



Kathmandu, May 07 - Cadres of ruling parties have attacked on protesters in various parts of the country on Friday. In Kathmandu, in the name of peace rally organized by some organizations, cadres of Nepali Congress and UML attacked on the protesters.





This has clearly shown that the government has tried to initiate a civil war. The government officials have openly spoken of retaliation of the movement.



A group of vigilantes attack on a small group of protesters when they were having lunch at Law Campus, premise. Eight protesters have been seriously injured in the attack. Those injured are undergoing treatment at Model Hospital, Exhibition Road.





Likewise, those vigilantes have attempted to attack on the protestors in various places like Ratnapark, Sundhara, Sorukhutte, Bhotahity. But, in all places the protester with the help of YCL has chased all those vigilantes. Several vigilantes were caught with rods, Khukuris and even short arms.





These types of attacks have been in various parts of the country. In Pokhara, Youth Force cadres fired upon the protesters and injured seven. Earlier the protsters had chased the vigilantes who had attempted to hold a retaliation rally.
